Alyssa Stepp is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She recently graduated from Roosevelt
University in Chicago with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alyssa completed her
clinical training at The Healing Center and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and
families. As a lifelong resident of the southwestern suburbs, she takes pride in being able to give back to the
community and is familiar with the local culture. Alyssa utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as multicultural, play, and art therapy techniques. She has
background in working with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD,
Grief, Trauma, conflict and anger management. In her free time, Alyssa loves spending time with her dog Koda
as well as her cats, Pippa and Roo!
