Hi! My name is Nicole Tucker, I am a recent graduate from Erikson Institute with my Master's Degree in Social Work, where I specialized in children, adolescents, and adults. Using my experience in community mental health and working in PHP/IOP outpatient, I am committed to empowering individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies and tools to navigate life's challenges.I believe in the power of creating a safe, empathetic space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
My approach is rooted in understanding that each person’s experience is unique, and I tailor my therapeutic methods to best meet their needs. Whether helping to reframe negative thought patterns through CBT, teaching skills for emotional regulation and mindfulness with DBT, supporting the healing process from past trauma, or helping you in your journey of gender identity and exploration, I am dedicated to walking alongside my clients every step of the way. I have experience in working with children and teens who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Anger Management, Self-harm/Self-Injury, Self-esteem, Family Conflict, Stress Management, Trauma, and LGBT+ related issues.
My goal is to help you feel confident in your ability to face life’s hurdles, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful, positive change. Together, we will navigate your path forward with compassion, understanding, and the belief that growth is always possible.
I also love to kayak anywhere I can, travel, go fishing, spend time with my dog, trying new recipes to cook and bake, and taking care of all my plant babies!
