Taryn is a Master’s level Social Work intern at the Healing Center. She has a Bachelor’s degree
in Social Work from Aurora University and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in
Social Work and eventually becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For her undergraduate
internship, Taryn interned at the Healing Center and helped facilitate therapeutic group sessions
at The Ranch. She has experience working with adults, teens, adolescents, and children.

​As a master’s level intern, Taryn is focused on continuing to build her knowledge base on
different therapeutic styles and working closely with clients to foster safe and trusting
relationships for healing to take place. Taryn is open-minded, empathic, kind, and patient.
Throughout her college career, Taryn has been a nanny to a family for over 5 years and enjoys
watching her nanny kids grow up. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and spending
time with family and friends.
