Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She started her mental health career working with adults with developmental disabilities where she learned a lot about how mental health can affect every aspect of a person's life.
Sarah knows everyone is different and has different needs which is why she gears her treatment on an individual basis in a safe, peaceful, and positive space. At the Healing Center, Sarah works primarily with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and stress. In therapy, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy approaches to allow her clients to get the most out of therapy.
When she isn’t working, Sarah enjoys reading, being outside, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
