Taylor Ford is a dedicated Licensed Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals overcome emotional and behavioral difficulties. She obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration and Social Work from Aurora University, and has been working in the field since 2019, becoming licensed in 2021.
Taylor has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. She specializes in treating anxiety, trauma, depression, adjustment disorders, stress, and adoption-related issues. Taylor is dedicated to providing high-quality care and utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, play therapy, motivational interviewing, strength-based approaches, trauma-focused therapy, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).
Taylor is committed to creating a comfortable and safe space for her clients to explore and develop skills and techniques in a therapeutic environment. She believes in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and collaboration. She is committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys reading, watching her favorite shows and movies, and spending time with her furry companions - 2 goldendoodles named Wrigley and Chase, and 3 cats named Jasmine, Pepper, and Basil. You may even see pictures of them around her office, as they hold a special place in her heart. Taylor’s warm and welcoming demeanor, combined with her professional expertise, make her a valuable resource for those seeking support and guidance in their mental health journey.
