Theresa Workman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Master’s Degree from Aurora University. Theresa specializes in mental health counseling and behavioral services for children and adolescents. She has over 10 years experience working with children and teenagers at-risk and their families. In addition, Theresa specializes working with traumatized adolescents, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and issues related to grief and loss. She has worked in residential settings counseling and fostering a healing environment for children who display oppositional behaviors. In practice Theresa uses a variety of treatment techniques, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy. Theresa’s counseling style reinforces skill development to promote safe, emotional coping, behavior management, and enhance pro-socialization.
